By far, my most FAVORITE session has been the birthing session. Birth photography is something I have been wanting to do since I started photography and I especially wanted to do it for a family with a deployed soldier! I feel SO incredibly blessed to have been able to photograph baby Joseph's birth! My camera barely never left my hands as I wanted to make sure to be ready for anything :) I only put it down a few times, one of those times to get ice chips for mommy to be! I loved being a part of something so beautiful. While Mommy was taking a nap her mother and friend left to take a quick break before the baby came. I stayed in the room with her while Daddy was on Skype watching his wife sleep. Everything else happened so fast! She had two huge contractions, her water broke and she started screaming the baby was coming! As I called for the nurse to come in, Mommy's mom and friend still were not back yet, so I traded in the camera for the lap top so Daddy could see his son. It was the most beautiful thing! As I told the family... I feel like I am part of their family now! Here's a few pictures to share with you!
